## Free Demo Available Now — Build Your Homestead for Steam Next Fest

Hi everyone! The free demo for Homestead: Deckbuilding Academy is available now. Come try it during Steam Next Fest and show me what you build! 

### Build with cards. Turn your homestead into your squad's strength.

Start with a small homestead, place buildings and put residents to work. Connect building effects, advance a turn, and watch production and upgrades follow one another. Equip your soldiers with ability cards provided by your buildings, then head out to explore new regions. 
- Plan your layout and combine production and upgrade effects.
- Build your soldiers' ability loadouts and test them in real-time automatic battles.
- Explore ruins and settlements, trade and complete commissions, then bring new resources and cards home.
