The Human Iron Age Is Ready — and That’s Not All!
Development of Empires Edge continues to gain momentum. Over the past few weeks, we’ve finished the artwork for the Human Iron Age, bringing a new set of buildings and the next stage of civilization development.
At the same time, we’ve completely reworked the start of the game. Before a mission begins, you can now choose the mission, your race, your starting location on the island, and the difficulty level — whenever the scenario allows those options.
We’re also continuing major work on the AI: opponents are getting better at developing their islands, recovering from losses, building armies, and planning attacks. Alongside that, the game keeps receiving many smaller improvements — from animated water and new sounds to an updated interface.
Step by step, Empires Edge is becoming the RTS we want it to be. And there’s still much more to come ❤️
