CONQUISTA News #02：gamescom Wrap-Up — Thank You for 8,500+ Wishlists!
Hello, everyone!
gamescom 2026 has come to an end.
Thank you to everyone who played CONQUISTA at the show, stopped by to talk with us, or discovered the game online.
Having so many people actually sit down and play the game gave us a lot to learn from.
One thing we were particularly happy to see was how many people enjoyed CONQUISTA even though they hadn't really played a 4X strategy game before.
Some were drawn in by the visuals, while others came from colony sims or other types of strategy games. Whatever brought you to the game, seeing players who were new to 4X give CONQUISTA a try was really encouraging for the team.
During gamescom, CONQUISTA also passed 8,500 wishlists.
That's more than double where we were just a few days earlier. Thank you so much for all the support.
We also received a lot of feedback from everyone who played the game at the show.
There's still plenty we want to improve, including how the game controls and how clearly its systems are communicated. We'll be taking everything we learned at gamescom back into development and continuing to refine the game.
What's next?
We're hoping to let some of you get your hands on the game again relatively soon, starting with a small closed playtest.
We're currently aiming to begin sometime from next month onward, once the build is ready.
We'll be distributing playtest keys primarily through our Discord server, so if you'd like to take part, please join us there and stay tuned!
Once again, thank you to everyone who discovered CONQUISTA at gamescom, and to everyone who has been supporting us so far.
We'll keep working to make the game better from here.
